The days have been long, they're always the same

A Simple Story

Create JOY in your Life

Awhile back Gibbs and our little dog, Piper, and I took a stroll down to the beach of sunset. It was one of those spectacular displays that casts a rosy glow, seemingly over the entire creation. There were a few wisps of white clouds in the sky, and the sun sank lower on the horizon, the clouds became tinged with pink. Within a few moments, they had changed color entirely as they totally absorbed the brilliant hue of the sun. Venus began to be visible in the western sky. We looked to the east, and saw the nearly full moon rising huge and golden. We sat and watched as the sky changed from one glorious shade to another. We were so enthralled with this exquisite display that we felt nearly full to overflowing with what I can only call unbounded joy. The next day I found myself starting to succumb to a difficult moment in my work. Perhaps because this irksome note was in such contrast to the continued delight I had been feeling from the previous evening, and because that enjoyment had been so complete, I immediately recalled the sunset. Instantly the difficulty was overshadowed by the recreation of the joy I'd experienced the night before. It wasn't that I was living in the past, but that I was somehow able to bring that joy to the present. As the days and weeks passed, I found i was able to tap into that joy again and again, and to absorb it to the present moment. Even now, months later, I'm still getting mileage from that sunset. We all have this moments in our lives. They are available to us in one degree or another every single day. We can find them in the smile of someone we love, or in the smile of someone we don't even know. We can find them in the hug of a child, in the presence of a friend or the touch of the lover. Think about the times in your life when you've been overcome with joy. It's in those moments that you're in love with yourself and everyone else. It's in those moments you believed you can conquer the world. It's in those moments that you dare to imagine how you want your life to be. It's from that imagination and that belief and that love that we can and do create our lives. Think about the things that bring you joy, then make a point of connecting with as many of them as possible, as often as possible.

: This story came from a book entitled "Inner Simplicity" which tells us about the 100 ways to regain Peace and nourish your Soul. The title "Create a Joy in your Life" is one of the several titles here in this book which is under the no. 6 topic "The Real Stuff". I really love this book because it taught us to discover things in which we can regain peace and nourish our soul. It is a simple book with simple thoughts that taught us how to smile, cry and laugh, how to conquer our fears, and how to figure out our big issues.

For all those BUSY days...+.+

(*sigh*).. Finally we're done!..We're done with our soft bound case study as well as with our defense..for all those sleepless nights, editing, hungry hours and blooper moments..I think we deserve a break!..right?..+.+..I guess so..hehehe.=)..For the past two weeks, I can say that it was really tiring..huhuhu..=(..All our brain cells were used up. And our defense really got into our nerves!..woah!..what a term!..maybe I'm just overwhelmed of the break..hehehe..=)..Even if this incoming week it will be our exams but i'm still thankful because somehow it lessen our burdens. Though we musst pass our last output, the hardbound copy of our case study..(*sigh*)..But!..just forget about it!..let's enjoy what's with the present..Also, it fits this week's activities because its..its ARAW NG DABAW!..So let's enjoy!..treat ourselves!..LET's HAVE FUN!(",)

Kaleidoscope World

* Francis Magalona just died on 6th day of March, 2009. He is one of those who suffer from Cancer and everybody was surprise when they knew that their very own Francis Magalona did not survive of his condition.The lyrics above is one of the songs he composed. He is one of the good singers and composers in our country. The message of the song tell us that we may have differences, we are all equal. We may have different perceptions and businesses in our lives. We may have different personalities but we can jive and be as one and together live peacefully. We just have to learn to accept one another for what he is, just what the song goes, "Every color and every hue, is represented by ME and YOU"..=) *

He was my friend but now he is my life...

We were friends at first and then we became closer and now we really are so much close...^^..We were BEST OF FRIENDS. He's from Digos City and it was really amazing that we've met one another. He was my first guy bestfriend. He's simple with a cute dimples that would really strike your eyes. He's fun to be with. He would always make you smile and feel comfortable. He was such a sweet person with a loving heart. That's why I really love to be with him. He's been a very good friend of mine. My ever dearest bestfriend and will always be my bestfriend for the rest of my life...One thing that's really amazing about him is he's one of kind and he really made sacrifices for the one he love..because no matter what happen even if it is sad or happy he will never leave you hanging...
He was my friend but now he is my life...not because he's always there for me..not because he would always make me smile..not because he has the cute dimples..but because he showed to me how wonderful LIFE is...for not because of him..I would never known the real meaning of LOVE..^^

A flashback from the past...^^

Coming from the past and going to the place that I am today really helped me in dealing with the events in my life right now. My past was exciting yet I consider it to be one of the saddest days of my life. Wanna know my personality from the past?....Well, I'm a silent type of person, still the same of today but a little bit vocal...slightly vocal...hehehe..=)..Many friends of mine would really tell me that I easily wear a smile in my face and that's what really amazed them because even at the most tough moment, there still I have it. They would also tell me that they really loved to see me when they're sad because it somehow brightens their day and that really brought me some thoughts of great happiness..^^.. They would always tell me that it seems I am the type of person who has no problems.Hearing those words from them really uplift my spirit and somehow reminds me that you are worthy to be here and in your own little ways you can make a difference. My life goes good..smoothly ..right to the track where it should be but..there's a BIG BUT!..along the way..almost there.. something really happened that really changed my life..everything really changed..I changed..my environment changed as well as the people that surrounds me really changed..At that point somehow my world stops and it give me time to breathe in and reflect for some time..That was the beginning..was just a beginning of becoming THE NEW ME...^^
